Sadly most new records tend to come with inner sleeves and printed lyrics inner sleeves that are made of paper, and which, over time, will gradually damage your records through repeated taking out and putting back of the record. Over time, paper acts like fine grit sandpaper; the comparitively rough surface will continually scratch away at your records, removing it's glossy sheen and ultimately affecting sound quality.

That's why we recommend taking the original printed inner and keeping it separate in the outer sleeve, and placing the record in one of these poly-lined replacements.
