"Wash your cast iron cookware by hand.    Never place it in the dishwasher.
You can use a small amount of dish soap.   Use a scrubber for touch food deposits.

Dry thoroughly by sitting the skillet on your stovetop on low heat.    Black residue on your dish towel or paper towel is normal.

Rub a light layer of any cooking oil the entire skillet including the bottom.    Use a dry paper towel to wipe the surface until little to no oil residue remains.

Repeat this after each use."
