In Egypt, Falcon represented the rising Sun; many Gods had Falcon heads, notably Ra. Falcon symbolizes victory, rulership, overcoming, the Higher Self, and connection with the spirit world; in Europe it was valued in hunting and as an emblem of war. The Falcon totem comes when higher vision/knowledge is needed; a solar emblem for success and rising above a situation.
